Fake Mustache Gives Hairy Loves to Sapien

Club Sapien is sadly closing this coming Saturday February 11th. The owners and staff have done an outstanding job providing a great positive queer space for our community and its various events. Miscellaneous Youth is sad to see Club Sapien go, and wishes to extend a great many thanks for all they've done for the community, including providing Mosaic and Fake Mustache with a venue for meetings and shows.

Fake Mustache is putting on a final performance at Sapien to show just how much they LOVE all the staff - with huge hairy mustaches of course.

Come down Thursday February 9th and help say goodbye to a great place with some great drag.

Youth (and the young at heart) get to say their goodbyes with the bois at the 8pm show

Adults (and the youthful ones with +18 IDs) continue the love fest at 10pm

"2012 is HERE and Mosaic is kicking it off with a bang!! Due to popular request, we're having our very first Family and Friends night this Wednesday!!

Holding true to our promise of making everything bigger and better this year, Mosaic is adding PRIZES to our Family and Friends night!! How do you win??

We'll be playing our very own edition of Jeopardy, with the following categories

Finish the lyrics!!!! ---- Featuring songs anywhere between the seventies to now!

Name That Quote!!! ---- Got a mind for books? Show off here and tell us where that quote is from! Everything from Charles Dickens to S Bear!

Community Organizations!! --- How many organizations are YOU familiar with? Work with your team to figure out what organizations there are in Calgary and what they do!

Facilitator Facts!! ---- Quick! When's Jen's birthday? What's Fuzzy's favorite food?

Charades!! --- I'm not going to explain this category!!

The team with the most points will be walking away with a trophy and mystery grab bag of prizes!!

It's a pot luck like always, so bring food, bring family, bring friends and most of all, have fun!!!"

It's the start of another great new year and the Boys of Fake Mustache are ringing it in by looking back. 20 years back in fact. All the 90's greatest hits, and you know there will be boy band numbers to seduce the ladies (and gents)!

Dig out your best plaid shirts, Docs and scrunchies and join the boys for a show that's going to be all that and a bag of chips.

The Early, All Ages show starts at 8:00pm
The 18+ uncensored music comes out at 9:30pm

While it should be noted that the Fake Mustache boys don't have any particular religious orientation, there's something irresistible about doing a drag routine as a jolly guy in a red suit - just look at that beard! Dig out that old Yule sweater from the attic, and celebrate the holidays in style!

Join Santa and the boys tonight, Thursday December 15th to ring in some holiday cheer.

The Bat Cave where The Miscellaneous Youth Network do all of their planning, spandex costume sewing and where they answer your questions, concerns and feedback is getting a bit of a renovation.
